Bombala Golf results for the week
Wednesday 2.11.11. Ladies played a Stroke for Di Ingram. Won by Helen Nellingan with 71 Nett. Ball winners were Gay Kennedy 73 Nett, Janet Cowell 80 Nett. Putting was won by Helen with 24 putts.
Sunday a car load of ladies travelled to Coolamatong for their Open Tournament. We were very happy coming home with some trophies. Di Ingram won the Division 1 Handicap with 74 Nett. Once again Vera Jones did well being runner up in Division 3 with 30 pts.
This year Coolamatong changed Division 3 to Stableford which was well accepted by the ladies in that Division. Vera also had a win in the raffle. So a good day was had by all.
Members, Saturday was a 4 BBB Stableford for John Cherry & Ray Fermor Trophy. The winners were Brendan Weston & Wayne Elton on a c/b from Ray Fermor & Pepper Thompson 49 pts. They were also the ball winners.
Sunday Members played a Stroke for Club Trophy. The winner was Phillip McIntosh with a great score of 62 Nett. Ball Winners were Phillip, Wayne Elton 68 Nett, Bob Johnson 69 Nett. NTP, Merv Douch.
