PHYSIOTHERAPY services will once again be available to Bombala residents.
Physiotherapist, Kristy Nichols will resume physiotherapy services from the professional consulting rooms at the Bombala Hospital in February 2013.
Kristy is part of the Sapphire Coast Physiotherapy team, and has access to specialist physiotherapy support in manual therapy, sports physiotherapy and hand therapy.
Kristy has been working at our Cooma clinic for two years, alongside Renee Pirozzi who previously worked in Bombala.
“It’s important that the residents of Bombala will once again have a full physiotherapy service available in the town, saving many the time and money to travel towns like Cooma and Bega to receive their treatment,” Renee told the Bombala Times.
“And this is another significant step towards Bombala being able to offer its residents a full range of medical services.
“I’m delighted that Kristy is able to return our services to Bombala.
“Kristy is also a qualified Women’s Health Physiotherapist, which will provide a service that has never before been offered to the Bombala residents.
“We look forward to welcoming new or existing clients in need of physiotherapy to our clinic. No referral is necessary. Appointments can be made by phoning 6452 4203.”
The Sapphire Coast Physiotherapy clinic at Bombala will operate initially on Fridays, starting in February 2013.
Clients will be able to access EFTPOS at the clinic and claim appropriate on-the-spot rebates for their physiotherapy from private health funds.
