Gold level Stihl service at Cycles and Chainsaws

BOMBALA Cycles and Chainsaws might have been in business for 13 years this year, but John and Joanne Neven are still eager to keep upgrading the quality of services they can offer their customers.

Illustrating this, John has just completed the highest level of service accreditation attainable to work on Stihl equipment.

Stihl offers three levels of accreditation for those formally qualified to work on their products, with bronze, silver and gold levels all being achievable, and John is now a gold level Certified Service Technician for the brand.

As soon as the opportunity for this level of accreditation became available through training in nearby Canberra, John grabbed the chance to further his expertise through a five-day training camp.

The course covered all of Stihl’s products, including existing petrol equipment and new battery powered products, and John achieved the outstanding result of 98% in his assessment.

“Stihl is serious about ensuring that qualified people work on their products to help the company maintain its strong reputation for quality,” John said.

“This accreditation also helps show our customers that we care about the services we offer and are always keen to enhance our skills where possible.”

To maintain his gold level, John will attend a Stihl service school program several times a year, and will undergo re-accreditation every three years.
