Rain and showers have been ongoing since Saturday afternoon, with Bombala receiving around 45mms at the time of print, and more predicted for later in the week.
AFTER all of that heat, this is how most of us were hoping to see Bombala – shrouded in cloud and rain!
While parts of Queensland have unfortunately been devastated by floods, our district has been crying out for moisture, and has finally been lucky enough to receive some.
The wet weather was kind enough to spare most of our Australia Day Celebrations, but the rain started Saturday afternoon, and we have enjoyed rain and showers on and off ever since.
At the time of printing on Tuesday, Bombala had received around 45mms since Saturday, and while we are now heading into another little burst of heat, more showers are predicted for the end of the week.
With dams starting to rise somewhat and paddocks reviving a little, most agree that we can put up with the heat if a little more rain comes our way!
