A GET together was held at the Heritage Restaurant in Bombala recently to show appreciation to Karen Cash for her years of service on the South East Arts Council.
New Chairperson of the Council, Lindy Hume of Cobargo, spoke in appreciation of Karen’s services to SEAC and to the local region, with Karen having been strongly involved in bringing art to the Bombala Council area.
Former President of the SEAC Committee, Kathryn Hackney from Cooma, also complimented Karen on her dedication and hard work, and wished her well in future endeavours.
Other speakers included Mayor Bob Stewart and Andrew Gray from SEAC, who thanked Karen for the work she had done, and presented her with two framed photographs of local scenes by Sally-Anne Thompson
Guests also included representatives from the Bombala Council and the Delegate Progress Association.
