A CREATIVE and very rewarding day was shared at the Bibbenluke Public School last Friday as the students and staff welcomed Aboriginal artist, Arthur Conlon to the school.
Arthur is a professional artist who not only creates wonderful works, but also has a close involvement with schools and specialises in student interaction and motivation.
The day kicked off with the students learning all about aboriginal art and producing a sample themselves as directed by Arthur, who was very entertaining and clearly enjoyed sharing the art making process with the children.
Then it was onto a larger scale mural on the school building, with the students delighting in creating a beautiful underwater masterpiece with Arthur’s encouragement.
