Towamba’s Fred Whiter and Bombala’s Cheyanne Girvan are judged closely in the final of the Jack and Jill double handed cross cut sawing event.
Cheyanne Girvan has skills that make some people envious during the winter months.
She is a champion wood chopper and has proven her skills at an event in Metung, Victoria, recently.
At the Metung Hotel Invitational wood chop event Girvan has taken out honours in the Jack and Jill double handed cross cut sawing.
Partnering up with Towamba local Fred Whiter, the pair was unbeatable in the event.
Girvan said she was delighted with the win and thanked partner Whiter for his strong performance.
She said the next event on her calendar was the Adelaide Royal wood chop in September.
