THE Bombala community is always eager to get behind a good cause, and despite pretty freezing weather, Daffodil Day was warmly embraced last Friday, August 23.
Daffodil Day merchandise has been available at several local businesses and even at our schools throughout August, and a specially run street stall outside Foodworks saw plenty of customers showing their support on the day.
Bunches of daffodils were the favourite purchase, but some went home with pens and badges, while others splurged on a Daffodil Day bear or footy for the kids, but all were happy to pop a few dollars in the Daffodil Day box.
By taking the time to donate on Daffodil Day, locals throughout the district helped make a real difference and give hope for a brighter, cancer-free future.
