ONCE again the Bombala Golf Course has been the target of mindless vandals.
It has been discovered that a row of pine trees have been cut down with an axe, leaving them hanging dangerously against other trees.
This is of grave concern to members, who now have the task of removing these trees for the safety of members who may hit wayward shots near the 14th green.
Beyond this, the toilet on the course – although not glamorous, but much appreciated in an emergency - has been destroyed, making it impossible to use.
Also a sign on one of the tees has had something thrown at it, leaving it in pieces.
The golf course is maintained by voluntary workers and these acts of vandalism have created more work for the few who give their time to keep our course presentable.
Police are now investigating, and anyone who knows anything about the recent attack of vandalism on the course is encouraged to contact the station on 6458 3444.
