Holidays filled with workshops

TIME flies when you’re having fun, and already we are through the best part of the school holidays – hard to believe!

And there certainly hasn’t been time for any boredom over the two week break, with the Bombala Council keeping everyone entertained with its ‘Be Involved…Be Inspired’ Holiday Workshop Program.

Along with traditional favourites such as the computer game sessions at the CTC, there were some brand new activities offered up this time around, and these were largely welcomed with open arms.

Amongst the new sessions enjoyed were paper tole cardmaking, book reading at the library, kite making and even cooking at the railway buildings. All great stuff to get stuck into!

And if you haven’t managed to get along to any of the holiday workshops so far, there is just one left to go, so make sure you don’t miss out.

This coming Friday, July 13 there will be a free ANIMAL ORIGAMI session at the Youth Rooms from 2pm to 3pm for everyone aged six years an over.

This is another brand new activity which is sure to prove popular, so call the Visitors Information Centre on 6458 4622 as soon as possible to get your name down!
