NETSETGO presentations were held on Saturday, July 28 in Bombala, with low temperatures failing to deter our junior members.
The highlight of the morning was the presentation of the Netsetgo bags. Excitement filled the air and the mercury level was quickly on the rise. Senior players assisted with the presentation of the San Remo netsetgo gear.
All of the bags contained a drink bottle, stickers, lunchbox containers, and a netball. Izzy, Kate, Emile, Bridie, Lottie, Jess, Shauna and Sinead were very eager to step forward to receive their goodies. Unfortunately absent on the morning was Topal and Lara.
It didn’t take long for the giggling gerties to open their bags and have their new netballs ready for action. After the presentation the girls were very keen to commence their session.
Once again the program has offered the opportunity for beginners to develop their skills and knowledge about the game of netball.
The program has been targeted to develop the skills of junior members from the age of five through to ten year olds. This has been the second year that Netsetgo has been offered at Bombala.
The results have been amazing and it has been a very fruitful decision to continue with the program. Under the watchful eye of coaches Emma Sellers, Ann Caldwell, Julie Jones and Sue Morgan each individual has progressed and developed their skills in all areas of the game of netball.
Each Saturday the girls have been put through their paces and positive outcomes have been achieved. Special mention to Kayla, Terri, Molly, Georgia, Aimee, Keiarna, Darcie, Bella, Karter and Tilly for helping out each week.
Also thanks to all the parents who have helped and supported the program.
