Bombala Golf results for the week
Wednesday 1.8.12. Ladies played a Stroke for H Nelligan Trophy. The winner was Joy Douch with 76 Nett. Jean McLean was the ball winner 83 Nett. Saturday 4.8.12. Ladies played a Stableford for R Hood Trophy and also played the weekend round of the V Johnson Memorial Trophy.
Eva L’Estrange won R Hood Trophy with 36 pts. Betty Crawford won the ball with 29 pts. Joy Douch was the overall winner of the V. Johnson Memorial Trophy. Members on Saturday played a Stroke for Imperial Hotel Trophy.
The winner with a great round was Wayne Elton 63 Nett. Balls went to Wayne, Steve Tatham 67 Nett, Philip McIntosh 72 Nett. No one was on the 17th. Match Play. Wayne Elton def Steve Tatham 3/2.
On Sunday in cold windy conditions a good field of men played a Stableford for Club Trophy. The winner was Merv Douch 39 pts. Balls were won by Merv & Bob 37 pts. NTP, Brendan Weston.
