The pair travelled to Mt Annan Botanical Gardens near Campbelltown in Sydney to compete, taking on the gruelling race for the second time, and earning themselves a very impressive third place!
When they competed the first time two years ago, the Bombala pair took silver, but this year were pushed to the limit by another team that also hoped for a podium finish right up to the 24th hour.
Shay and Steven raced in the Elite Men’s team of Two category, and can be extremely proud of their third placing given the hot competition faced throughout the demanding race.
