BOMBALA’S team of paramedics have one important message for residents.
“Our main concern is that people delay calling Triple Zero (000) or drive themselves to hospital because they don’t want to bother us,” paramedic Sandra Lavender said.
“The only “bother” is knowing we could have helped earlier,” she said.
Ms Lavender arrived at the Bombala Station 17 months ago. She is joined by paramedic Jason Wood who has been in town four months after working in Sydney for three years, Jane Dunne who has been in Bombala for 16 months, Josh Burke who arrived in April 2013, and Chris Bucholtz who has worked in Linden in the Blue Mountains and Western Sydney.
