All the 17+ boys individual events record were broken in the day with Andrew Platts beating the existing one-lap breast stroke record and Keiren Rodwell claiming the new record for the one-lap freestyle, the one-lap backstroke, the one-lap butterfly and the two-lap freestyle events.

Novelty events started the day with the three houses competing in the water canister relay and gutter ball encouraging team work and participation amongst the team members.
Students then hit the pool with such hot conditions meaning that most races in most age groups were hotly contested.
A very spirited house chant competition was a highlight of the day as were the wonderfully eccentric entrants in to the crazy hat competition.
Nalbaugh were the runaway house champions for the day followed by Myanba and Rockton.
The school offered its congratulations to its “wonderfully talented students who once again demonstrated their commitment to the school’s core values of personal best, respect and responsibility”.
“A big thank you to all of the staff of BHS who contributed to such a successful day,” a school spokesperson said.
