The weather was just perfect for a bush drive.
Once the group arrived they had a look at tablets that have been purchased for the activity groups – the idea had been to use these as cameras, but they looked at all the functions of the tablets instead.
Then it was off for a stroll along the walkway to the first platform.
The river was running, the birds chirping and lizards darting around.
Lunch was had out there and with the peace and quiet nobody wanted to leave.
It’s such a lovely spot Bombala is very lucky to have locations such as this in its own back yard.
The next get together is Wednesday, March 5, so if you’re a Carer in the local community and would like to join us please phone the Bombala Council Community Services on 6458 4620.
The Bombala and District Carer’s Support Group is supported by financial assistance from the Australian government.
The group is also supported by the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care, Family and Community Services.
