Showcasing some local progress

READERS took great interest in our Local Government Week spread last week, but with the feature being reduced in pages this year, we couldn’t quite fit in all of the great images that we had prepared.

Given that each photo shows progress currently being made on local projects, we decided to share these with our readers this week rather than simply keeping them on file.

While we are sure that most of our readers would have been watching the swimming pool upgrade progress, and are aware of the new footbridges along the river, most would yet to have seen the new bird watching hides erected at the Platypus Reserve.

All are great Bombala Council projects that are benefiting both the local community and our visitors, and we wanted to share this while Local Government Week was still fresh in everyone’s minds!
