THE Anglican Church of Southern Monaro has a new locum priest.

Rev Bob Lindbeck has been appointed to come fortnightly to the area and offer services in all the

centres – Bombala, Delegate, Cathcart and Bibbenluke.

Bob and his wife, Judith, live in Canberra, and Bob, priested in 1972, has been the rector in Canberra, Bribbaree, Berridale, Temora, Kambah and west Goulburn, before retiring to Canberra in 2010.

He has also ministered as chaplain to the gaol and hospital in Goulburn, while in the city.

Following his arrival last week, services were conducted at Bombala and Delegate.

He is looking forward to ministering among the people here and seeing the parish grow and develop.

The parish looks forward to working with Rev Bob and getting to know him better.
