As would be expected improvements to our road infrastructure makes up the largest component of our budgets.
During the year major work will be undertaken on a number of our roads including Creewah, Moore Springs, Gunningrah, Endeavour Reserve, Rosemeath, Palarang, Wedmore and Tantawangalo Roads.
In addition repairs will be made to Delegate and Bombala footpaths and tourism signage will be erected at Endeavour Reserve.
Council also approved the purchase and installation of a new family cabin at the Bombala Caravan Park.
We are also seeking matching funds to progress work at Delegate Caravan Park and undertake the construction of the expansion to the Bombala Visitor Centre.
Funds have also been allocated for the installation of a toilet at the Early Settlers Hut at Delegate which will allow the committee to hold additional events at the site and better cater for the growing number of coaches visiting our area.
A complete list of all projects is included in the Operational Plan which can be viewed on council’s website www.bombala.nsw.gov.au
Community members are reminded that they can also view council’s progress via the quarterly performance Review which forms part of the business papers for council meetings every four months.
