Kim started off the carers’ group back in 2010, so lots of conversation was had.
The group listened to a huge amount of information on chickens and learned that a chicken doesn’t just lay eggs.
The group also wandered through the beautiful garden picking up hints of what can grow in the cooler climates of Bombala.
Lunch was the next activity which was held at the Bombala RSL Club.
The next get together is September 10, so if you’re a carer in the local community and would like to join us please phone the Bombala Council Community Services on 6458 4620.
The Bombala and District Carer’s Support Group is supported by financial assistance from the Australian Government.
The group is also supported by Ageing, Disability and Home Care, Family and Community Services.
