After a ‘gender bender’ breakfast barbecue at the school, the Year 12 students returned for their assembly.
Presidents for 2015, Ebony Ingram and Lachlan Sellers, were MCs for the occasion that saw the hall filled with parents, friends and students.
Adam Rodwell addressed the assembly on behalf of the junior school and Bailey Jones gave a very moving address to Year 12 on behalf of the senior school.
Relieving principal, Glen Warren, delivered some very motivating words to the cohort before the traditional powerpoint presentation was viewed.
Year 12 were then presented with their portfolios and gifts by Mr Warren and Year 12 advisor Donna Shelley.
The year advisor’s speech then followed with a response on behalf of Year 12 delivered by Keiren Rodwell, president 2014.
The audience was entertained by a number of musical items including our very own Miss Morrison accompanied by Daniel McKinnel performing ‘Diary of Jane’.
A final roll call saw the graduating class of 2014 descend down the aisle to the rapturous applause of the large crowd.
Afternoon tea was a time to reflect on the end of 13 years of schooling.
Congratulations Year 12 2014 and all the very best of luck in your HSC exams and in all your future endeavours.
