BEAUTIFUL home cooked food and great company have always been the cornerstones of the Annual Spring Luncheon, but this year two local business displays added further interest to the event.

The luncheon, once again presented by the Catholic Ladies Organisation, saw Elsie Wertenbach setting up a display to feature her new handmade jewellery enterprise, ‘EMJ by Elsie’.
Elsie demonstrated the making of her colourful and unique pieces, with the luncheon crowd admiring both her skills and the jewellery itself.
Purchases were made on the day, while ‘EMJ by Elsie’ pieces are on sale at Bombala Electrical, online and at various local markets.
Luncheon goers were also able to peruse a stall from the Garden & Gadget Gallery at the event, with the perfect spring day inspiring everyone to gear up for some work in the garden.
But of course lunch came first and the Catholic Ladies once again provided a luscious two course spread that was the main highlight of a cheerful day.
With appreciation
Of course the usual fashion parade from Final Touches and Champion’s Shoe Store was missed after so many years of featuring at the luncheon.
The Catholic Ladies wish to express their gratitude to Chris Ryan for providing a lovely fashion parade for many, many years and to
Angela Clear and now Jodie and Carol and Julie for beautifully accessorising the fashions for such a long time.
The two local businesses have been very supportive of the fundraiser and have always done such a wonderful job organising the fashion parade.
The Catholic Ladies were able to show their appreciation and thank Chris and Chloe at Final Touches and Jodie and Carol at Champion’s Shoe Store with a bouquet of flowers presented to them prior to this year’s luncheon.
