We only get a narrow window for swimming in Bombala, and it is certain the facility will be well utilised, with everyone from the school kids to the seniors eagerly diving in.
While it remains a Council facility, Paul Perkins from Raw Strength & Fitness has again taken on management of the pool this year, so keep your eyes open for activities and fun events!
Of course the swimming pool itself can be used for serious fitness sessions, swimming lessons and simple relaxation and fun, with entry fees this season as follows –
Children below school age and children attending school $3; Adults $5; Season Ticket – child $54; Season Ticket – adult $90; Season Ticket – family $180; Teachers accompanying school groups $5; Non swimming adults (no access to pool) $2; Instructors conducting swimming lesson $5.
Please note that season tickets are to be purchased from Bombala Council office at 71 Caveat St, Bombala.
Doors to the pool will open from 11am, and everyone can enjoy the watery fun up until 6pm daily, with the exception of Christmas day, December 25.
It is envisioned that the pool will close for the season in March 2015, so start making the most of the pool from this coming Saturday, November 22! You can start splashing about from 11am.
Dive into the Bombala Swimming Pool from 11am this coming Saturday.
