And along with those simply enjoying a dip, there have been a number of children also taking part in swimming lessons.
The Swim and Survive program took place at the pool between January 12 and 22 this year.
The program is run by the Office of Sport - Sport and Recreation, and offers lessons for pre-schoolers and primary school-age children.
Sport and Recreation Project Officer Paul Kelly said Swim and Survive is based on the Royal Life Saving Society’s national industry standard program and is taught by qualified instructors.
“Swimming is a life-saving skill as well as a fun form of exercise,” Mr Kelly said.
“Kids and parents will notice the results that come from the extra practice of a daily program.”
