As locals can easily see, more and more bikes pass through on a daily basis, and the Visitors Information Centre tells us that weekend riders visiting the district are definitely on the rise.
Also on the rise are overseas visitors to the Bombala district, with many coming to the area specifically to seek out the local platypus, giving high praise for the Bombala River Walk and the Platypus Reserve.
And the figures from the Bombala Caravan Park prove the point. Compared to 2013, the overnight bookings for 2014 were up by a staggering 311! Given that most of these bookings are for couples, this means that over 600 extra visitors stayed at the caravan park last year.
We hope the figures continue to rise in 2015!
