BEYONDBLUE’S big blue bus was parked in Bombala on Monday, visiting the local district as part of its tour of the Southern NSW Medicare Local region.

As part of its 50,000km National Roadshow, the beyondblue bus and National Roadshow team brought free information about depression, anxiety and staying well to Bombala, promoting the importance of good mental health and encouraging people to look after themselves.
A number of locals, including students of the Bombala High School, took the opportunity visit the bus outside the RSL Club, enjoying the free barbecue sizzled up by the Lions CLub, and chatting to the beyondblue team and local service providers about the support available in the region.
Some even made a mental health pledge, had their blood pressure and glucose levels checked, and took home some free beyondblue resources, with the beyondblue team saying they were pleased with the response they received in Bombala.
