Club vice-president Eddy Evans said there had been great conditions and many good catches, including the 278kg tiger shark caught by Michael Embrey and a 108kg marlin caught by Tom Jessop.
A sit-down dinner for all competition entrants will be held today at 5.30pm at the Eden Gardens Country Club, with prizes and raffles to be won.
Major prizes and the monster raffle, including the Quintrex boat, trailer and motor, will be drawn at the presentation on Saturday to signal the end of the competition.
The presentation and barbecue will start at 12 noon at the fishing clubhouse and all winners will be announced.
Parking spaces at Quarantine Bay last weekend were bursting at the seams with some vehicles having to find parks next to the highway.
