Year 5 students from Bombala and Delegate, along with Mrs Sellers, Mrs Roberts and Mr Lavender all headed off for a great time.
Cooba aims at challenging students with daring activities, often based on cooperation and teamwork.
Groups were required to plan and test solutions, and push themselves physically in a safe environment. There was lots of water, mud, heights, hills, ropes, arrows, laughter and fun.
Children participated in a Low Ropes Course, Team Initiatives, Big Swing, Team Manoeuvres, Gladiator Challenge, Archery and Dirt Buggies.
All activities involved working together in some way, either in the planning stage or the activity itself.
Children were proud of the following types of achievements - going to the top of the giant swing, not chatting to my friends at night time, trying new things, working as a team, trying new food and accuracy in archery.
Mrs Sellers and Mrs Roberts were very proud of their students and their positive response to the excursion. Thanks to Mrs Tozer and Mr Lavender for driving the buses.
Cooba was awesome, amazing, tiring, exciting, challenging, muddy, wet, scary and great!
