Police have nabbed a crafty gangster almost a decade after the fugitive began his double life as a model and rapper that brought him all the way to Australia.

Ben Fiberesima from South Kilburn in the UK , skipped bail while he was on trial for fraud and weapons charges in London seven years ago.
UK Police arrested the 30 year old in 2008 after they discovered a stun gun, and a canister of CS gas among a horde of stolen property at his flat after he reported an attempted burglary.
After he skipped bail, Mr Fiberesima adopted a false identity and began a glitzy new life as a high fashion model for international labels including Calvin Klein, Nike and Tom Ford.
Fibersima managed to evade capture even as he built up his very public profile in Australia as a model.
His model agency profile described him as a talented rapper who was 'crowned UK Underground rap battle champion 11 times'.
The fugitive also recorded rap songs under the stage name Roky Million and authored a self-help 'Roky's Power Gain 50: Become Geppetto' in which he boasted being "worth seven figures by the age of 26", and spruiked his personal brand via his social media accounts.
In a blurb on Amazon he claimed,"'My story is straight forward. I grew up in government housing and have been for 80 per cent of my life."
But last year Fiberesima's high-flying life came crashing down when police were altered by an anonymous tipster that he had returned to London.
London Metropolitan Police detectives hatched a sting operation to catch the vain criminal, posing as a fake photography company and contacting Mr Fiberesima's modelling agency to book him for a fake modelling job.
Fiberesima fell for it, and the Police sprung their trap, arresting the fugitive at a studio in north London.
Fiberesima was found guilty of two counts of theft, two counts of making false representation and possessing an offensive weapon.
He was sentenced to three years and nine months in prison, the Evening Standard reported.
Fiberesima also pleaded guilty to three counts of making false representation and one count of possessing a prohibited weapon.
"There is clear message here, that we will not forget you if you offend, and we will explore all options in tracing you and bringing you to justice," said Detective Inspector Pete Wallis, from Brent Police.
"Thankfully he is now paying for his crimes, due to the perseverance of Brent's Wanted Offenders Unit," he said.
