SERAS Chairman Mick Mayhew, SERAS Director Rick Ingram, Katherine Pajuczok, Keiren Rodwell, Rebecca Richardson, Mayor Bob Stewart and Essential Energy Regional General Manager Phil Green enjoyed the reception.
THE Mayor of Bombala Council, Bob Stewart, held a reception on Wednesday, September 5 to acknowledge the achievements of local athletes who have been scholarship holders with the South East Regional Academy of Sport (SERAS) during 2012.
SERAS Executive Director, Garry Lane, provided an update on the academy and then introduced this year’s scholarship holders to the Mayor, who presented netballers Katherine Pajuczok and Rebecca Richardson with a certificate to commemorate their year on scholarship with the academy.
The regional general manager for Essential Energy, Phil Green, was also in attendance to present a certificate to individual scholarship holder Keiren Rodwell.
Mayor Stewart responded by acknowledging the good work done by the academy and the commitment that Council has shown to the academy since its inception in 2001.
