Council has resolved that while their first preference is to remain a stand alone council it will consider a merger with Cooma Monaro and Snowy River Shires subject to additional infrastructure funding.

The projects are potable water for Delegate ($700,000), replacement of bridges ($4 million), raising the level of the Bombala weir ($1.3 million), underwriting and sewerage system upgrade for Bombala.
Council has now submitted the above information to the Government and has been advised the outcomes from the submissions will be known before Christmas.
The community is advised that Brad Yelds has resigned as deputy mayor and councillor.
Council would like to thank Mr Yelds for his work while on council and wishes him well for the future.
The auditor Graham Bradley, addressed the Council at their last meeting and expressed overall satisfaction with Council’s financial position following the completion of the 2014/15 financial statements.
Council adopted the Annual Report for 2014/15.
