MOST of our readers are aware that local boy, Brady Jones will be heading to the US next year as part of the Monaro Dance Centre troupe, and a special concert was held last Friday night in Bombala to give him a hand in getting there.
The fundraising event was enjoyed at the Bombala RSL Club, with local performers, Leanda O’Brien, Kat Goldstraw, Sally Jones and Slippery When Wet all hitting the stage.
A cheerful crowd rolled up for the great night of entertainment, with everyone giving high praise for the fantastic live music and high spirited atmosphere of the concert.
A significant amount of money was raised to go towards the expenses of the US dance trip, with those who came along certainly showing their generosity.
Brady and his family would like to offer sincere thanks to all of those who supported the fun night, and to the wider community for its ongoing support.
