As is the tradition, the Sports Day begins directly after the 11am Anzac Day Commemoration in Bombala, and offers plenty of refreshments to those who move on from the cenotaph to the Exhibition Ground for lunch.
The day starts with treasure hunts for lollies for the little ones while everyone else can busy themselves registering for the foot and bike races, as well as novelty activities for a $2 registration.
Events start just after 12 midday with the bulk of the day taken up with fun bike and footraces for all ages.
Of course there are novelty events for everyone to enjoy right throughout the afternoon as well, with the sack races, three-legged events, egg and spoon, potato race and the egg toss keeping folk amused.
Organisers have once again set up the Gallipoli Gallop and Changi Challenge for the bravest adults and children to take on, with some particularly tricky obstacles having been prepared.
While the Gallipoli Gallop is an individual cross-country and obstacle based event, the Changi Challenge is for teams of six, with participants urged to get their teams of three males and three females together as soon as possible.
The most highly anticipated event of the Anzac Sports Day, is the Bukalong Mile, where teams of three take a shot at some great prizes.
Teams can be male, female or mixed, with each rider taking their turn on the same team bike to complete a lap and one third of the oval as fast as they can.
A timed handicap ensure everyone has a shot at riding to glory in the Bukalong Mile - all you need is a bike, two other riders and a helmet, and you're in!
Entry fees are kept low to ensures everyone can join in with stacks of prizes, plenty of refreshments and a couple of raffles drawn throughout the afternoon making it an enjoyable day for the whole family.
