THE Bristle Brush Arts group thoroughly enjoyed its latest Art Attack workshop, and is now looking forward to its next!
The bunch of local artists and guests worked with Grace Paleg at a very rewarding workshop in Bombala in early September, focusing on pastels.
This was a new technique to most of the artists who participated, and Grace shared an incredible amount of expertise which left the artists delighted with their new skills.
As we have previously reported, the Bristle Brush group gained funding for these workshops through the Country Arts Support Program, and the next one is on the horizon on October 27.
Here Phil Cotterill will run “Cut Loose – Experimental Art”, a one day workshop that is bound to inspire with lots of ideas and techniques set to be explored.
Phil is well known for his many local sculptural pieces as well as other artistic endeavours, and everyone is invited to come along and become a little more adventurous with their art.
The workshop will be run from 10am to 3.30pm on October 27, for just $45 per school student and $50 per adult.
Places are limited, so those wishing to take part need to contact Carol Badewitz as soon as possible, or grab a registration form from the Visitors Information Centre.
