The Snowy Mountain Brumby Sustainability and Management Group held a meeting in Jindabyne on Saturday to discuss the state government's plan to cull up to 90 per cent of the brumby population in the Kosciuszko National Park.

A number of speakers attended the meeting including NSW Animal Justice Party MP Mark Pearson MLC and Environmental Scientist Karen Summers.
The plan is to reduce the population from about 6000 down to 600 over 20 years.
