This week Bombala hosted Moruya but not all teams were able to play with Moruya unable to make teams for the U7s or U9s or U12 years.

This could have been very disappointing for some children who have been really enjoying the games each week.
However after much discussion it was decided that with the overall enthusiasm of the U9s team and the number of players registered in their team, they could make a second team and play against each other for practice.
The game was surprisingly competitive with the team divided. As it happened the teams were definitely evenly matched and it was the perfect way to improve attack and defence for the under 8s.
A big thank you to the players for playing with such spirit and to the parents who chose to let them play the bye just because they love to play together so much.
This week's Milo Match Players were Heidi Brownlie and Tyler Ford for their outstanding effort.
Also playing with lots of spirit this week were the U8s. Definitely not put off when they were down a few troops.
The team still played a great game and was competitive all the way to end.
Ari, Stan and Max Power led the troops all game with great tackles. Building confidence each week Zara Brotherton managed some great one on one tackles.
Jake Brown, Tanner Hurley and Josh Tellis put their hands up all game with strong running attack and let’s not forget young Josh bagging heaps of trys.
This week Milo Match winner was Ruby Smith. Ruby ran down players left right and centre all game pulling off some beautiful try saving tackles. Well done under 8s you definitely are little warriors.
Moruya certainly did not scare off the League Tag girls. They had a great start and put pressure on the attacking Moruya side with some excellent defence.
Karter Hampshire pounced on a loose ball and was able to sprint to the line to put the pink heelers out to an early lead. The girls then set about putting training into practise by completing their sets with wider, flatter passing in attack, and moving up as one line in defence.
Captain Emily Perkins was also able to cross the try line with a determined run which meant the girls went into halftime with an 80 lead.
The girls lost concentration in the beginning of the second half with many dropped balls. Moruya were able to capitalise on these handling errors by scoring early.
The Pink Heelers dug in and defended hard with the workhorse Karter making so many tags the statistician ran out of room on the recording sheet. Leah Luke continues to improve in leaps and bounds every week and her strong efforts were rewarded with a 40 m try.
Abbey Boreham was able to convert this try and took the girls to a 144 lead which is where the scored stayed for the remainder of the match.
The whole team continues to improve every week which is great to see.
We look forward to some more hard training in the coming weeks so that we can experience some more success on game day.
Blue Heelers under U14s took on a massive Moruya side at home. These boys are putting so much effort in and are trying harder each week.
However this effort was lost on Saturday when the Moruya team just had what it takes. This impressive team were quick to put points on the board and dominated the play from the beginning until the end.
The Bombala boys tried hard to take control and gain some possession. However, it wasn't to be. With very little ball handling and constant defence, this game left Bombala scoreless.
Three points went to Jasper Bruce for a great defensive game and for strong defence, 2 points went to Lane Stevenson and 1 point to Reagan Hurley.
