Women at the Olympics have equal claim to glory

We've cheered for them and cried for them, suffered with them and exalted too. What's not to love about seeing women excel at the Olympics? In case we needed reminding, their achievements as well as their failures, the laughter, tears, pumped fists and hung heads, demonstrate beyond doubt that given half a chance, women can and will compete as thrillingly and ferociously as men.
