Kane James Hayman, also known as Kane James Stanley, 33, of Cornfield Parade, appeared in Nowra Local Court before Magistrate Clare Farnan.
Charges of armed with intent to commit an indictable offence and affray, which Hayman pleaded not guilty too, were dismissed.
The charges arise from an alleged incident at Bomaderry October 14 last year at 10,50pm, involving another man.
Magistrate Farnan sentenced him to six month’s jail for the common assault charge from October 27 last year, which expired on May 25.
Hayman had previously been refused bail.
She placed him on a 18-month good behaviour bond for the other charges.
