According to the NRMA the cheapest town in the state for the week was Tweed Heads South, with an average unleaded price of 96.4 cents.
Average unleaded petrol prices in regional NSW have dropped 0.6 centres per litre for unleaded and 0.1 cents per litre for diesel.
ULP in Cooma was selling for 127.1 cents per litre and diesel was 130.9 per litre.
Petrol prices in regional centres don’t fluctuate as much as capital cities.
NRMA’s analysis shows regional towns with a greater number of independents and more competition tend to have cheaper prices.
