“The club expects a growing players list, with most of the Winter players signing up again, plus several past players resurfacing after a period of hibernation,” Fanning said.
“This includes a few friendly faces from the Bombala region, and the club is hoping they might be able to attract a few more.”
Ahead of the comp season, the club is holding its grading and social evenings on Wednesday, August 31 and September 7 from 6pm.
“These nights are a great opportunity for new players or those renewing their squash interest after years in the squash wilderness,” Fanning said.
“For our Bombala region friends, we try hard to accommodate you in the same teams, so that you can car-pool if you want to.
“Each team plays once a week on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday night from around 6pm, and usually wrap-up between 8.30 and 9pm.
“One team plays every Wednesday night, one team plays eight of 10 matches on a Monday and the other four teams play a mixture of nights,” he said.
