This Saturday, Bombala Golf Club hosts the Men of League Foundation, Far South Coast Golf Day and they are inviting local rugby league teams, fans and players past and present to come along and support the event and show off their golf skills.

The Men of League Foundation was formed with the primary objective to provide assistance and support to players, coaches, referees, officials and administrators from all levels of the game and the broader rugby league community.
This is the first time that the Men of League Far South Coast committee has held a golf day in Bombala and everyone who shares a love of rugby league is invited to come along.
There are loads of activities planned for the day, including breakfast, lunch, raffles and at the end of the day an auction.
Bombala Golf Club president, Brendan Weston is encouraging as many people and their families to come along and participate on the day.
The day starts with breakfast at 9am followed by a 10am shotgun start.
Golf
On Wednesday the ladies played a Stroke for J Cowell Trophy and Association Medal.
The winner was Betty Crawford with 78 nett. Balls were won by Joy Douch and Di Ingram both with scores of 82 nett.
There was no golf held on Saturday because it was a wet day and the course was wet.
On Sunday members played a Stroke for the Monthly Medal.
Merv Douch came in the winner with a score of 75 nett.
Balls were won by Merv and Ray Fermor 77 nett.
No one got on the 17th.

Saturday is the Men of League Day.
Members: Saturday, September 17 is the Men of League Day at Bombala Golf Club with Hit Off at 10am.
There is breakfast served before hit off and lunch after the game.
Sunday, September 18 - 4 BBB Stableford for the late J Haslingden and P Halligan Trophies. (Choose partners).

Bowls
Wednesday, September 7: Social bowls - R Dent and C Baker defeated B Beileiter and K Bronson 28-18.
A Dent and J Adamson defeated K Callaway and Chris X 22-17.
Two teams travelled to the Eden carnival R & K Callaway and M Guthrie had 2W 1L +10 earning them a spot in B Grade. B Crouch, N Brotherton and G Griggs had 1W 2L -5 earning them a spot in D Grade
Next week the results will be published from these two teams and Day 1 of the carnival at Tura Beach. Jack
