Pony Club
Six Delegate Pony Club riders competed in Cooma Zone 18 Gymkhana and Zone 18 Sporting Championships on Sunday. Dustin Voveris, Lydia Jamieson, Natalie Vincent, Emily Vincent, Rochelle Voveris and Jessica Vincent all came home smiling with ribbons. Also a big congratulations to Dustin Voveris for receiving his second reserve age champion in Zone 18. The day consisted of a number of sporting events including rider class, handy mount challenge, barrels, snakes and ladders, flag race, the box, bending race, diamond flag race, pony twist, western pole bend and show jumping AM7 (all grades). The next rally date is Sunday, October 9 at Delegate Showground.

Golf
On Wednesday the Bombala ladies played their Foursomes Championships. Once again the game was marred by rain with one group deciding to pull out on the 13th hole when the temperature dropped and the rain came. When the players who completed the 18th holes finished, a discussion took place and it was decided that the championships would be reduced to 18 holes. Congratulations to Betty Crawford and Dawn Douch Scratch Foursomes Champions with the score of 107 from Gay Kennedy and Joy Douch 110. Joy and Gay are the Handicap Champions with 77 nett.
Saturday was the Men of League Day. The winners were Clay Stewart, Luke Kimber, Joel Cherry and Korie Elton 51 ¾. Runners-up were Nick Flower, Graeme Payton, Kevin Elliott and Marty Black 53 ¼.
Sunday was a 4 BBB Stableford for the Late J Haslingden Trophy and P Halligan Trophy. Players managed 6 holes when the rain came and they headed for the club house.

Wednesday, September 14: Social bowls A Dent and C Baker defeated K Callaway and Chris X 19-13. Saturday, September 17: Day 1 at Tura Carnival - G Griggs, J Lomas and B Crouch 3L -14 earning them a spot in C grade. Put your name on the board if you want to play in the Super 6's competition.
