Police are reminding motorists to slow down as double demerits remain in place for the entire October long weekend with Operation Slow Down.
More than 23,420 motorists have been breath tested across NSW resulting in 17 charged with drink driving.
While 1476 motorists were slapped with speeding fines, 143 more than the same time last year.
About 11.39am on Friday a 24-year-old man driving along the Hume Highway at Goulburn was allegedly caught doing 168km/h in an 110km/h zone.
While in Mittagong a woman was arrested after police allegedly found the 47-year-old driving on Berrima Road while suspended.

Traffic is also flowing smoothly on the Princes Highway at Albion Park Rail.
5.45pm: Heavy holiday traffic is still being experienced southbound on the Princes Highway at Berry, where there are delays of 15 minutes.
Traffic is queued 7km.

- Berry, Princes Highway – southbound delays of 30 minutes, traffic queued 8km.
2.25pm: Car, truck accident southbound on the M1 Princes Motorway at Yallah has been cleared, Live Traffic NSW reports.
2.15pm: We’ve just received reports of an accident involving a car and a truck southbound on the M1 Princes Motorway at Yallah.
The accident, near the Princes Highway on-ramp, is adding to delays on approach to Albion Park Rail, where southbound delays are now 5km.
Further south, delays southbound on the Princes Highway at Berry are 8km or 30 minutes.
1.45pm: Heavy traffic conditions are still being experienced on the Princes Highway at Albion Park Rail and Berry.
Delays have eased slightly at Albion Park Rail, with the southbound delays now about 4km, adding 10 minutes.
At Berry, the queue is 8km, adding 30 minutes to your journey.

To the north, five-minute delays are slowing motorists southbound on the Princes Highway at Albion Park Rail.
The NSW Transport Management Centre is reporting traffic is queued for 5km at Albion Park Rail, with motorists told to expect delays and allow extra travel time.
12.10pm: Traffic queues southbound on the Princes Highway at Albion Park Rail are now 3km.
Southbound traffic is also heavy on approach to Berry.
11.50am: It’s not even lunch time on Friday, but long weekend holiday traffic is already building on Illawarra roads.
Motorists southbound on the Princes Highway at Albion Park Rail – one of the region’s usual pinch points – are experiencing queues about 2km long at 11.45am.
NSW Transport Management Centre (TMC) mapping shows heavy traffic on the M1 Princes Motorway and Princes Highway extending from Albion Park Rail back towards Dapto.
Traffic also appears heavy southbound on the Princes Highway at Berry, although the TMC is yet to report any queues.
Delays are also expected on the Princes Highway through Nowra, Milton/Ulladulla and Batemans Bay later on Friday as holidaymakers head south for the weekend.
Motorists are also reminded of road closures in central west NSW due to flooding.
