The Mountain Lodge of Bombala held a special luncheon earlier this month at the Bombala RSL Club to celebrate the lodge holding its 1600th meeting earlier in the year.

The 70 people that attended the luncheon were entertained by Rob Hughes, Kevin Turnbull and Brian Beileiter who were part of a band that was formed in 1965 in Bombala called the Four Cents.
The Bombala Mountain Lodge was consecrated in 1891 and has met continuously on a fortnightly basis since then.
