The event aims to highlight free and low-cost childrens activities families new to the area or those without much money to spend might not know about.
This year’s program boasts more than 40 events including clothes and toy swap, sports and martial arts, magic shows, plus arts and crafts from May 14 to 21.
The event culminates with the Finale at Killalea State Park, a mini-festival within the festival.
Co-founder Tessa Parsons dreamed up the idea a decade ago when working with Barnados and said she’s immensley proud of the large-scale community event it’s become.
“A lot of the time families just don’t know where to start … they may feel there’s not a lot to do,” she said.
“A lot of the activities are really good back to basics.”
