The Bombala Reserves played an entertaining game of football, but were defeated 36 to 4 by the Moruya Sharks Reserve side.
With numbers lacking the Bombala Reserve Grade team had a tough task at hand, but to their credit they toughed it out until the end.
With the half time score seeing them down just 12-4 they were very much still in the game.
Alex and Nick Rosten proved a great combination from the back safe under high balls and always providing solid defence, with Nick claiming first points of the game just 3 minutes in.
Kitt Bryce constantly fronted to cart the ball up for the Heelers providing great support to the forward pack with Andrew Platts and Brett Thompson also providing great go-forward and solid defence.
Pat Gaudie and Digby Walcott steered the team around well in at the halves.
However further injuries into the second half to the Heelers line up did not help and the Moruya team would end up running in 5 more unanswered tries taking the final score 36-4.
Players player and 3 points went to Alex Rosten (sponsored by Murdoch Bibbenluke), 2 points went to Andrew Platts (sponsored by Dungaree Pastoral) and 1 point went to Kitt Bryce (sponsored by Bryce Built Constructions).
