“It’s an issue everyone agrees on,”  coordinator of Tubbut Neighbourhood House, Deb Foskey said. “The Bonang is the major connecting road between small communities and the nearest Victorian town, Orbost.” 

Goongerah motorcyclist Jamie Antonio said that the Bonang Road was a very popular route for motorcyclists, especially travelling to and from Phillip Island.

“The unsealed section of 12k makes the road a lot more dangerous with many unreported accidents.”

Tubbut Neighbourhood House has a petition calling for the sealing of the Bonang Road.
