Last week’s Golden Oldie of the 1959 Bombala Men’s Basketball winning team the "Chip Shots" went largely unrecognised except for one Facebook reader Sheryle Toms who recognised the lads as basketballer’s and remembered some of their names.
The names of the Chip Shots winners of the of the men’s winter competition in 1959 were from left Bill Reed, Terry Peisley, Don Stewart, John O’Neill, Garth Yelds and Gary Elton.
