Now based in New York, Lara Goldie said she’s been “pounding the pavement” for around five years before getting this break.
Her recurring guest character, Allie Luskin, has also been written into the second series.
"It's definitely a huge step in a great direction that's opened a lot of doors, just have to wait and see what's in store for me,” she told the Mercury.
“[My family] were over the moon. They have been my number one fans since day one, so incredibly supportive and always made sure I believed in myself and that I knew I could do anything."
Apparently Miss Goldie was teaching the cast how to pronounce Wollongong when the writer’s decided to write it into the script.
She doesn’t have a set path she wants to take except to explore everything: “drama, comedy, I want to do it all!”
But her ultimate goal is “transformative character acting” like Meryl Streep.
Miss Goldie also co-founded the Three Bridges production company.
Bull screens Sunday night on the Ten/WIN Network.
