The burn will take place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, July 22, 23 and 24, weather permitting on Scotts Road and Pigmy Possum Place, Cooma.

A spokesperson for the RFS said, “Under favourable conditions this will assist in reducing the bushfire risk to the Scotts Road community this coming summer.”

RFS advise to avoid smoke by  closing all doors and windows in your house; avoid driving in smoke; beware of fire tankers in your street and cooperate with fire fighters.
